101 Things About Me (updated 8/31/08)
This will be a growing list I am sure, but saw it somewhere else and thought it might be kind of cool to do myself.
- I have a strange obsession with the color pink lately.
- I don't really love my cat more than hubby and Princess PITA (but don't tell them).
- I never wanted to have children (although looking back PITA was the best thing that ever happened to me)
- I really wanted to be a vet (four legged animals are soooo much easier to handle than the two legged kind)
- I wish my family was like the ones in the Norman Rockwell paintings.
- I met hubby through a prank call (I was the caller).
- I find the mind of a middle schooler fascinating.
- I think Britney Spears is beautiful (even when she went a little skanky ho like on us all).
- I think "Dude Where's My Car?" has got to be one of the funniest movies I have ever watched and can watch it over and over again.
- I am a hopeless romantic.
- I still miss my Nana and think of her often. I hope everyday that I have made her proud.
- Best book I ever read was To Kill a Mockingbird.
- I love my boobs (The doc did a great job on them.)
- My moods can be determined by the music I listen to.
- I am the embodiment of a Saggittarian. I swear that the people who write the horoscopes and descriptions must be spying on me.
- I really loved my job as a teacher.
- I am a people pleaser.
- I have received a lap dance from a female stripper in a bar.
- I wish I had more courage to sing at a Karaoke bar, because I love to sing.
- The more weight I lose the sexier I feel.
- I could eat Mexican food 7 days a week.
- I hate football and basketball (makes being a cheer sponsor a pain in the neck LOL)
- The commercials that show warm, fuzzy family moments make me tear up.
- October is my favorite month of the year.
- I fell in love with someone since the divorce and have had to accept that it is not going to be returned.
- I have only had one hang over in my life (and it came with a black out of time, I still wish like hell I knew what happened that night).
- There was a time when I considered seriously becoming a stripper for the money.
- There are 18 years age difference between me and my youngest sister.
- My most treasured possession is my white box and all of the items in it.
- I still have the love letters that my high school sweetheart wrote me. We became pen pals when he moved to CA and I still have every letter he ever wrote me and they are in order by date.
- I am scared of being alone forever!
- I skipped my high school graduation to go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.
- I think my in-laws are the greatest people in the world. I wish I had grown up with parents like them.
- The woman I see emerging from my beautiful daughter takes my breath away. She will do great things.
- I hate the month of December.
- One thing I really look forward to every year is going out with my sister for scary movies, dinner and alcohol for her birthday.
- No matter how hard I try, at the end of the day I can't fake that the glass is half full.
- I never think I will wake up on January 1st to see the new year (odd I know)
- I am the root of all evil according to my father.
- I am a damn good cook, when I want to be.
- According to hubby, my fake happiness is better than when I am depressed, that is sad if you ask me.

- I have been considering getting out of teaching. It isn't the job, I love working with kids and teaching Texas History, but something just isn't fullfilling me anymore there.
- I have a piercing that few know about and even less will ever see.

- I have had two songs written for me by men that I was in love with.
- I want to be an NSD (National Sales Director) with the cult.
- I have finally decided to start working on my God issues.

- I am about to be a grandma (SERIOUSLY!)
- Can you tell me what a trap, shawty, wifey or cutie pie is? I can tell you.
- I find that I wish I was still married.
- I am still in love with my husband.
- I am scared of my future.
- I think the world would be better off without me sometimes, then the people who say I have influenced their lives help to change my mind.
- I kissed a girl, and I liked it.
- I don't think anyone will ever be able to love me unconditionally with all my skeletons in my closet.
- I believe in true love.
- I think I have met several of my soul mates, but none to stay with me until I am ready to rock on a front porch enjoying our retirement and laughing about the wild things we did together when we were young.
- I am a grandmother (at 33!!!)
- My daughter is now my biggest hero for what she did for her son. I didn't have that strength to do that for her.
- My youngest sister is the coolest person and I am soooo happy my dad had her. She was the best surprise for me and my daughter's best friend.
