101 Things About Me (updated 8/31/08)

This will be a growing list I am sure, but saw it somewhere else and thought it might be kind of cool to do myself.

1. I have a strange obsession with the color pink lately.
2. I don't really love my cat more than hubby and Princess PITA (but don't tell them).
3. I never wanted to have children (although looking back PITA was the best thing that ever happened to me)
4. I really wanted to be a vet (four legged animals are soooo much easier to handle than the two legged kind)
5. I wish my family was like the ones in the Norman Rockwell paintings.
6. I met hubby through a prank call (I was the caller).
7. I find the mind of a middle schooler fascinating.
8. I think Britney Spears is beautiful (even when she went a little skanky ho like on us all).
9. I think "Dude Where's My Car?" has got to be one of the funniest movies I have ever watched and can watch it over and over again.
10. I am a hopeless romantic.
11. I still miss my Nana and think of her often. I hope everyday that I have made her proud.
12. Best book I ever read was To Kill a Mockingbird.
13. I love my boobs (The doc did a great job on them.)
14. My moods can be determined by the music I listen to.
15. I am the embodiment of a Saggittarian. I swear that the people who write the horoscopes and descriptions must be spying on me.
16. I really loved my job as a teacher.
17. I am a people pleaser.
18. I have received a lap dance from a female stripper in a bar.
19. I wish I had more courage to sing at a Karaoke bar, because I love to sing.
20. The more weight I lose the sexier I feel.
21. I could eat Mexican food 7 days a week.
22. I hate football and basketball (makes being a cheer sponsor a pain in the neck LOL)
23. The commercials that show warm, fuzzy family moments make me tear up.
24. October is my favorite month of the year.
25. I fell in love with someone since the divorce and have had to accept that it is not going to be returned.
26. I have only had one hang over in my life (and it came with a black out of time, I still wish like hell I knew what happened that night).
27. There was a time when I considered seriously becoming a stripper for the money.
28. There are 18 years age difference between me and my youngest sister.
29. My most treasured possession is my white box and all of the items in it.
30. I still have the love letters that my high school sweetheart wrote me. We became pen pals when he moved to CA and I still have every letter he ever wrote me and they are in order by date.
31. I am scared of being alone forever!
32. I skipped my high school graduation to go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.
33. I think my in-laws are the greatest people in the world. I wish I had grown up with parents like them.
34. The woman I see emerging from my beautiful daughter takes my breath away. She will do great things.
35. I hate the month of December.
36. One thing I really look forward to every year is going out with my sister for scary movies, dinner and alcohol for her birthday.
37. No matter how hard I try, at the end of the day I can't fake that the glass is half full.
38. I never think I will wake up on January 1st to see the new year (odd I know)
39. I am the root of all evil according to my father.
40. I am a damn good cook, when I want to be.
41. According to hubby, my fake happiness is better than when I am depressed, that is sad if you ask me.

45. I don't really know what I want to be when I grow up.
46. I have been considering getting out of teaching. It isn't the job, I love working with kids and teaching Texas History, but something just isn't fullfilling me anymore there.
47. I have a piercing that few know about and even less will ever see.
48. I plan on getting 3 more tats.
49. I have had two songs written for me by men that I was in love with.
50. I want to be an NSD (National Sales Director) with the cult.
51. I have finally decided to start working on my God issues.
52. I am great at loopholes.
53. I now believe size matters.
54. I have been learning "street" or "thug" or "gangsta" launguage.
55. I am about to be a grandma (SERIOUSLY!)
56. Can you tell me what a trap, shawty, wifey or cutie pie is? I can tell you.
57. I find that I wish I was still married.
58. I am still in love with my husband.
59. I am scared of my future.
60. I think the world would be better off without me sometimes, then the people who say I have influenced their lives help to change my mind.
61. I kissed a girl, and I liked it.
62. I don't think anyone will ever be able to love me unconditionally with all my skeletons in my closet.
63. I believe in true love.
64. I think I have met several of my soul mates, but none to stay with me until I am ready to rock on a front porch enjoying our retirement and laughing about the wild things we did together when we were young.
65. I am a grandmother (at 33!!!)
66. My daughter is now my biggest hero for what she did for her son. I didn't have that strength to do that for her.
67. My youngest sister is the coolest person and I am soooo happy my dad had her. She was the best surprise for me and my daughter's best friend.
